Ao Nai Wok is situated just north of the port at Thong Sala. Turn left at the 1st main crossing from the pier, then walk straight till the road crosses a concrete bridge, and then turn left again where the road dead-ends at a T junction.
Although the beach here isn't one of the best, its still a nice area - especially if you want to be near to Thong Sala. If you're waiting for an early boat back to the mainland or going on to Koh Tao, you may want to stay here since transport times from other parts of the island can be unpredictable. ( Ao Bang Charu, south of Thong Sala is another option )
Swimming at this beach is best from December - April when water levels are high. A reef offshore also offers good snorkelling.
